SCCPDC Members Present: Jason Sjostrom, Town of Lenroot; Ed Peters, Town of Draper; Len Eckerly, Town of Hunter; John McCue, City of Hayward; Curt Scherer, Town of Hayward; Elaine Nyberg, Town of Sand Lake; Steve Schultz, Town of Winter; Kay Wilson, Town of Round Lake; Pete Sanders, Town of Bass Lake; Bill Christman, Sawyer County Zoning Department; and Dale Olson, Town of Meteor.


Citizens Present: Linda Zillmer, Town of Edgewater/Birchwood; Sheldon Johnson, NWRPC; Terrell Boettcher, Sawyer County Record; Ernest Martinson, City of Hayward; David Berard, Town of Hayward; .



Chairman Dale Olson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.


Meeting summary of November 19, 2008 was reviewed, motion to approve by Sjostrom and seconded by Scherer, motion carried.

Comprehensive Plan Survey

Sheldon Johnson distributed a summary report of responses to the countywide survey.  A power point presentation highlighting several survey questions was reviewed.


2009 Plan Development Timeline

Sheldon Johnson presented a tentative timeline for SCCPDC meetings, informational meetings, public hearing and final action by the county board.  Modifications to the schedule were suggested.  SCCPDC meeting dates were established for March and April.


Review NWRPC/SCDC charges for Sawyer County comprehensive Plan

Sheldon Johnson presented an outline of expenses for NWRPC and the Sawyer County Development Corporation.  Motion by Sanders, second by Scherer to recommend approval of the submitted payment request.


Set Next Committee Meeting

The next Committee meetings are set for March 3 & 31 and April 21 at the county courthouse beginning at 6:30pm.
