Chairperson Pearson called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Approval of Agenda
Moved by Thompson, seconded by Bassett to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes
Moved by Thompson, seconded by Bassett to approve minutes from the March 6, 2012 meeting. Motion carried.
Sawyer County Ag. Fair Association
Chuck Aubart reported. There are a couple of events coming up at the Fairgrounds, and they are working on the Raising the Roof fundraiser. Prisoners through the Huber program will be out at the Fairgrounds throughout the summer working on grounds, etc.
Agent Report – Trinke McNurlin, Family Living Agent
Trinke McNurlin, Family Living Agent, distributed and reviewed report of work progress in the last six months (report on file), highlighting the proposed Community Foundation, Community Prevention Collaborative and Rent Smart / housing statistics. Discussion.
Drug Drop-off Box costs will be gathered and item will be placed on proper committee agenda. Laberee and McNurlin will take responsibility of the task.
Quarterly Budget Performance Review
Committee member Paulsen suggested that because there is only 2 months data this item should be tabled and reviewed again in June.
Approval of Vouchers
Moved by Paulsen, seconded by Bassett to approve vouchers. Motion carried.
Approval of Out-of-County Travel
Moved by Paulsen, seconded by Bassett to approve out of county travel. Motion carried.
Any Other Business
In discussion of out-of-county travel, McNurlin informed the committee that Laberee is receiving the Distinguished Service Award. The committee asked that JCEP reporting be on next month’s agenda and that the plaque and photo be brought to next month’s meeting.
Berard will submit expenses for GIS luncheon for reimbursement.
WACEC invitation was distributed. Laberee encourages attendance.
