Chairperson Pearson called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Approval of Agenda
Moved by Voight, seconded by Shuman to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes
Moved by Bassett, seconded by Kinsley to approve minutes from the December 11, 2012 meeting. Motion carried.
Sawyer County Ag. Fair Association
Ron Kubarek reported. Dawn Stone and Tom Schneider are newly elected Fair Board members. Ken Schmock is the new Vice President. The board is discussing scheduling options with the Livestock auction so that there are no conflicts and noisy events to divert the focus off of it. The Raise the Roof project has approximately $6000 in its funds so far. $5000 from the Sawyer County 4-H Leaders Association. A letter has been prepared for submission to the county board for funds. The sliding parties are doing well for the first year.
Family Living Agent Introduction
Lori Baltrusis, new Family Living Agent was introduced to the committee.
Lisa Wydra, WNEP Coordinator, distributed a handout and offered a slide presentation of an overview of WNEP. Wydra clarified to the committee the funding sources of the program. Members also inquired about the Farm Bill in fiscal year 2014.
Bassett commented that he was very pleased with the letter the committee received clarifying UW-Extension hiring policies and thanks Lori Laberee for the follow up.
Community Natural Resource Economic Development Agent Update
The position will be posted for applicants before the end of the month.
Approval of Vouchers
Moved by Bassett, seconded by Kinsley to approve vouchers. Motion carried.
Approval of Out-of-County Travel

WACEC invitation was distributed.
Moved by Bassett, seconded by Shuman to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:25 a.m.
